Tapco launches new website
ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI, U.S. - Tapco Inc., which stocks more than
900,000 elevator buckets in 60 sizes and more than 12 million bolts
in 38 sizes, has launched a totally revamped, user-friendly website:
www.tapcoinc.com.
Tapco said the new site has an easy-to-navigate product guide
that also includes product "pop-ups" that show features, benefits and
common uses. There is also a Spanish catalog, and back by popular
demand ... the Computing Bucket Elevator Capacity Form. The company said that in the website's "News" section, a short animated movie can be seen showing how a common U.S. fabricated steel bucket is

affected by an impact, and how a Tapco CC-HD Polyethylene Bucket
is affected by the same impact.
"Plans are in the works to add a French language catalog PDF to
accommodate some of our international customers and prospects,"
Ted Beaty, executive vice-president of Tapco Inc., said. "Website
traffic has almost doubled since the official launch date, perhaps due
in part to the premier of our new illustrated Spider Web ad. The website has exceeded our expectations." Tapco said its mission is to offer
the best selection and availability of buckets, bolts and accessories,
and provide top-notch service at a competitive price.

Sukup Manufacturing Co. celebrates 45th anniversary
SHEFFIELD, IOWA - In 2008, Sukup Manufacturing is celebrating its 45th anniversary. Eugene Sukup founded the company
in 1963, when he developed an idea for a stirring machine for inbin drying of shelled corn.
The company has grown over the past 45 years into one of the
top bin manufacturers in the world.
The Sukup product line includes farm and commercial grain
bins, continuous flow grain dryers, tower dryers, axial and centrifugal fans and heaters, the Fastir Stirring Machine, bin unloading equipment, bin floors and a variety of other grain handling
accessories.

From its start in a small welding shop, Sukup Manufacturing
has grown and now has over 450,000 square feet of manufacturing
space. The company noted that it holds 90 U.S. and international
patents for innovative ideas they have developed over the years.
Sukup is a family-owned company with three generations now
involved in the day-to-day operations. Eugene Sukup, founder of
the company, holds the position of Chairman of the Board. His two
sons, Charles and Steve, hold the positions of President and Chief
Financial Officer, respectively. Two of Steve's children, Nick and
Crystal, have recently joined the company as well, ensuring that
the company will remain in the family for many years to come.
