Storage, handling and conditioning equipment
Bentall Rowlands is a leader in the manufacturing and supply of grain storage, handling and conditioning equipment. The flat-bottom silo ranges from 3

to 27 meters in diameter, storing up to 15,000 tonnes
of grain. Hopper silos can have a 45- or 60-degree
hopper assembly with fully galvanized substructures
and diameters ranging from 4 to 10 meters, storing up
to 1,800 tonnes of grain. Sidewall sheets are corrugated, utilizing shallow pitch corrugation to ease material flow, and are manufactured from pre-galvanized
G600 steel sheets with minimum total coating of 600
grams per square meter. The design of the Bentall
Rowlands silo is based upon the loads and pressures
derived from the German DIN 1055 1987 standard.
Structural calculation based upon BS 5950 part 5 and
wind loading of 180 meters per hour for a probability
period of 25 years.
