In1968, SEA launched on the Italian market the
first prototype of its optical electronic color sorting
machine for rice. The success immediately obtained
on the Italian market impelled SEA to search for new
markets in Europe and to create sorting machines for
other products, ranging from dried fruits to legumes
and other foodstuffs.
Pixel electronic color sorters bring together the
most modern technology and experience gained
through many years in the industry. The machines use
a control system with high resolution CCD cameras
which incorporate the most advanced technology, and

yet are simple to use.
Sorting grains and foodstuffs using color separation technology ensures the highest accuracy in sorting coupled with a greatly reduced number of rejects.
Added to this is the ability to process high capacities
without sacrificing the final quality.
SEA focuses on the development and production
of sorting machines working in monochrome, bichrome, IR, UV, resonance and others. With more that
1,500 machines installed worldwide, SEA has come
to be a fundamental reference point for an increasing number of operators in different production fields.

of cereals and a project in Russia with a total capacity of 106,447 cubic meters.
In Arabian Countries, the company is supplying a
cereals facility with a total capacity of 16,700 cubic
meters, and in Iran it is supplying a facility with a
total capacity of 42,150 cubic meters of wheat. The
conveying machinery of these projects has been delivered by Silos Cordoba.
