Vibration damping and grain decontamination
Vibronet's aim is to simplify and optimize milling
processes, and at the same time strengthen the focus
on hygiene. Preventing bacteria growth is an essential
step for food and feed safety. Lowest temper times are
a prerequisite for more hygienic cereal end products.
The patented vibration damping system shortens grain
temper time to an absolute minimum and therefore reduces bacteria growth. As reduced temper time alone
cannot eliminate all grain contamination, an additional
solution was found by using a technology from the
medical field: activated water, a non-chlorine disinfection fluid. This activated water with distinctive microcidal, virocidal and fungicidal properties is produced
from a simple salt-water solution with the help of the

diaphragm-electrolysis process. The combination of the
patented vibronet damping technique with the patented activated water technology results in the highly
effective vibroDES method.

Chilled rolls for the milling, crushing and flaking industries
Yenkar is the export arm of Yenar Dokum,
which is an ISO 9002-certified Turkish manufacturer of chill rolls.
The company produces chilled iron rolls for the
milling, crushing and flaking industries by using
a double-pour centrifugal casting system (Spin
Cast).
The philosophy of Yenar Dokum is that a good
quality end-product begins at the first step of
production.
To achieve a high-quality product, a hi-tech
induction melting furnace is used to prepare the
alloy for the rolls. The production is meticulously
controlled, tested and machined in CnC lathe machines, which are specially made for rolls.

Yenkar has a special machine to measure the
exact profile of the flutes (corrugations) on the
rolls. The rolls are made of nickel, chrome and
molybdenum alloy chill. This special alloy makes
the rolls wear-resistant, allowing the life of a roll
to be extended considerably compared to regular
chilled iron rolls.
Yenkar produces a range of double-poured,
centrifugal-cast chill iron rolls from 150 mm (6
inches) up to 600 mm (24 inches) on outside diameter. Lengthwise, they range between 300 mm
(12 inches) and 2,000 mm (79 inches). In this
range, they produce rolls for flour mills, coffee
mills, oil mills, cocoa paint and other applications
where cracking and flaking is demanded.
