MC Mühlenchemie opens new branch in South Africa
RANDBURG, SOUTH AFRICA - With the opening of a
new branch in Randburg, South Africa, MC Mühlenchemie,
a subsidiary of the Stern-Wywiol Gruppe, said it is strengthening
its commitment to the milling and baking industry in
southern Africa.
On an area of 400 square meters, Stern Ingredients South
Africa develops and produces individualized system solutions
for standardizing, optimizing and fortifying flours. In a fully
equipped trial bakery, baking processes are simulated, and the
effects of enzymes and other active ingredients tested under local
conditions. The company said its own theoretical and practical
training center offers customers from South Africa and
neighboring countries such as Zimbabwe, Mozambique and
Zambia an intensive transfer of technology and know-how.
Branch Manager is Jannes Peemoeller, who has worked the
South African market for MC for many years as sales manager.
Together with its
facilities in Lagos and Nairobi, MC
Mühlenchemie said it covers the entire value chain of flour optimization
and fortification - from procurement through rheology
and analysis to applications development and production.
Sukup acquires automation distributor Ramco Innovations
SHEFFIELD, IOWA, US - Sukup Manufacturing Co. acquired
Ramco Innovations, a leading automation distributor
in the US Midwest.
Combining Sukup's grain storage, drying and handling solutions
with Ramco's understanding of automation technologies
will create a collaboration that drives innovation and enhances
customer experience, Sukup said.

With the acquisition, Sukup Innovations was formed
oversee Ramco Innovations and Sukup Innovations'
to
AgTech offerings.
Sukup Innovations will provide comprehensive, high-tech
solutions tailored to the unique needs of clients in agriculture
and various industrial sectors.
Hank Norem, chief executive officer of Ramco, will serve
as chief innovation officer of Sukup Innovations. He also will
serve on the Sukup executive team.

Ramco Innovations will retain its name, operations and current
location. Ramco and its 65 employees will remain based
at 1207 Maple St. near Valley Junction, Iowa, US, and its four
other locations in Nebraska, Kansas, Illinois, and Missouri.
