The International Association of Operative
Millers' (IAOM) 126th Annual Conference
& Expo will be May 2-6 in Richmond, Virginia,
US. Along with educational programming,
committee meetings and
networking opportunities, the event
includes the expo. The IAOM Expo features
the hottest trends, materials, equipment,
techniques and information under
one roof. The exhibit floor offers the latest
products and services. Expo hours
are 9:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on May 4 with
unopposed exhibit times from 9:15 a.m.
to 1 p.m. and 2:40 to 5:30 p.m. Hours on
May 5 are 9:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with unopposed
time from 9:15 a.m. to 1 p.m.

at IAOM.
Stone mill HSM automatic
Sangati Berga offers stone mills in
various models developed to work
with a continuous flow of wholemeal
flour production. The flour is healthy
because it contains the bran and the
germ with a high fiber content, vitamins,
proteins and minerals. Sangati

Vibration dampening
Since 1992, the patented vibronet vibration
dampening technology reduces
temper time, energy consumption,
and total bacteria count for cereal and
pulse wetting. Its high vibration energy
transforms water drops into a thin
film that can cover the entire kernel
surface leading to an accelerated water
penetration. This allows an optimal
separation of hull and endosperm and
helps to increase total yield as well as
the yield on light colored flours.
Optical sorting systems
Satake USA Inc. serves customers in
the North American, Central and South
American and Caribbean markets. Satake
offers a range of advanced optical
sorting systems that incorporate
full color RGB, size and shape. At this
year's expo it
will showcase the PIKASEN
FMS2000, a compact, full color
RGB optical sorter ideal for small and

HSPU purifier
Roller gate
Henry Simon's new HSPU purifier is
an award-winning machine with its
design and technology, which already
has been recognized by Good Design
in 2020 and German Innovation
Awards in 2021. The advanced sensor
technology provides higher reliability,
better operational safety, and consistent
quality in the bran removal process.
The purifier is equipped with a
touchscreen panel providing real-time
operating information to the user, and
a maintenance software for monitoring
sieve configuration, the status of
consumables (rubber springs, LED
light, vibro motors). Booth #336

The Vortex roller gate is suited for
handling dry material in gravity flow
or low-pressure applications installed
above or below gravity-fed hoppers/
silos, mixers, and augers/screw conveyors.
It also is suited for application
as an air shut-off gate/damper valve in
vacuum dust collection systems. Custom
sizes are available to accommodate
any combination of gate stroke
or width. It has live-loaded seals that
extend the gate's service life.
