Rotative sensor
Brabender's new FarinoGraph, which
determines water absorption capacity
of flour and rheological properties of
dough, is the successor to the Farinograph-TS.
It features a slim, ergonomic
design and is more automated. The
Brabender Prediction feature checks
and calculates the evaluation points
during the measurement and predicts
the torque curve in real time. With
this live feedback, the measurement
can be stopped prematurely, and the
predicted values may be used instead.
The AutoStop function ensures that
the device stops after the measurement
is complete, saving time.
Symaga's SY-DP1 rotative sensor
serves for detecting and reporting on
the maximum grain level, if they are
installed on the roof, the middle level
if they are installed in the central body
of the cylinder, and the minimum level
if they are installed at the silo hopper.
For roof installations, it is supplied
with a 1-meter extension kit. Among
all Symaga's sensors, it is the most
sensitive one, plus its feeding and
maintenance are basic. To improve its
effectiveness and precision, it includes
two operating modes depending on
the density of the stored grain.

Profile buckets
Tapco introduced patented CCXD-LP
(CC Xtreme Duty Low Profile) buckets
with " distinctive breaks " on the
bottom for clean discharge and lowprofile
backs for closer spacing on the
belt. They are available in 7-, 8-, 9- and
10-inch bucket projections, in polyethylene,
urethane and nylon. Tapco
stocks more than 1 million elevator
buckets in 178 sizes and 15 million elevator
bolts in 60 sizes. Many sizes also
are available as CCHD-LP (CC Heavy
